Meet The Team
Nicola Brown
Owner and founder of MoveFree
Sports and Pregnancy Massage Therapist
Since gaining my qualification, I am able to provide a variety of neuromuscular techniques to treat skeletal muscle immobility, restrictions and tension by offering sports massage. I have worked with multiple Team GB powerlifters, professional dancers, Crossfit athletes, Team GB dragon boat racing and Olympic weightlifters.
Coming from a big family, I've always seen family members struggle through pregnancies with aches and pains. I am very passionate about care and relaxation during pregnancy, so I became qualified and now specialise in pregnancy massage so that I can help lots of mums-to-be to feel as relaxed as possible.
Being a competitive powerlifter, I understand the need for sports massage to aid in recovery. By keeping my muscles healthy and conditioned through regular sports massage, it prevents me from getting any injuries and also enhances my performance.

Ricky Cook
Sports Massage Therapist
I discovered Sports Massage whilst a keen competitive sports person. I played football locally for
Hamworthy United, Bournemouth Sports and represented Dorset at County level. With injuries
sustained during sport, I also found my work in the construction industry subjected my body to
regular aches and pains.
Sports Massage became such a pivotal factor in assisting me to maintain a level of wellbeing,
in both work and leisure activities. Such had been the positive effects of massage on me I
was inspired to retrain as a therapist and work in a career I am passionate about.
Allowing me to help clients, having empathy and understanding of the frustration
of having sports injuries, or waking up with aches and pains from daily life, is my
driving force.
In addition to massage therapy, I also have an interest in natural healing, and I am
qualified as a Reiki practitioner.
I keep myself fit with regular PT and Yoga sessions and continue to receive sports
massage myself as a way of keeping conditioned and preventing injuries.
